The HollywoodNorthReport is reporting that the main cast of Smallville has agreed to return for another season of production. Note that they say the "main" cast of SV has signed on, meaning not everyone has. There is some speculation over at BuddyTV about which of the cast is returning and who might not. So, who do you think could be cut out of the cast? Lex, Lana or Chloe?  Kristin Kreuk, Allison Mack and Michael Rosenbaum's contract length was for seven seasons meaning that they're free agents after the current season to do other work if they choose to. We'll have to wait and see who makes it into season 8 of Smallville.
