Why Donate?

Good question. Long time visitors may know (or not) that this site was hosted for free (with the exception of the yearly domain name registration). Due to the ever increasing amount of intrusive pop-up ads required by the free web hosting provider, this site is now at a paid host as of April 2007 to avoid inconveniencing KK.net visitors with pop-ups. Yes, we have some ads to try and recoup those costs, but no pop-ups. Ever.

So where do the funds come from to pay for hosting? Out of the site owner's (BlueStreak) pocket. The bandwidth used by this site is very substantial (Gigabytes upon Gigabytes) with the gallery, wallpapers and forums alone.

Any generous donation is appreciated by KK.net. Be it one dollar or more, every little bit helps.
